定存利率每況愈下，海外基金行情大起大落，不僅使許多國人的理財重心轉回國內，其中，透過ETF來存股，在近一年來更是掀起前所未見的高峰。尤其元大金旗下元大投信所發行的元大高息低波ETF（00713）配息率在11月上旬以7.08％一舉奪冠，並且再度引領市場存股風潮，不僅小資族喜愛，退休族或準退休族理財，更是把目標轉向這類台股ETF。
金融圈人士指出，元大高股息和元大高息低波ETF，可說是元大旗下兩檔最具「存股」品牌性的ETF。
尤其是元大高息低波ETF以高達3.15元的配息、7.08％在所有性質相近的台股ETF奪冠，也帶動了整體投信業者所發行「存股型」ETF的氣勢，除了受到投資人高度矚目、討論之外，其他包括復華富時高息低波、元大旗下另一檔號稱國民ETF，也是高人氣的0056元大高股息ETF、國泰永續高股息ETF的配息率，也分別有7.06％、5.56％、5.45％的年配息水準。
因此整體而言，上述台股的存股型ETF的配息狀況，不僅遠優於定存利息，比起基金理財亦不遑多讓，近一年來在市場劇烈震盪之下，許多基金的年化報酬率大概連5％都不到，甚至不少高收債基金還反過來吃掉投資人的本金。
相形之下，這些存股型ETF不僅可完全免除匯率風險，而且沒有利率波動造成的干擾，且在台股上，由於是採一籃子股票的投資方式，因此能充份分散個股的風險，因而有不少原本擬透過基金理財來累積退休資金的人，現在轉而投資這種存股型的ETF。
以目前配息率最高的元大高股息低波ETF為例，倘若舉實例來分析元大高股息低波ETF對投資人的理財貢獻。
11月26日的每股價位約在41.85元左右，準退休族若投資418.5萬元，持有100張元大台灣高息低波，若以3.15元的配息來看，今年就可以領到31.5萬元的配息，可說對於退休金的累積大有幫助。
